The same menu is also available on our website. We are unable to update the menu daily so check the “last updated” time stamp and call ahead if you’re depending on something. You can also find us on Yelp and Google! We love positive reviews, please consider leaving helpful comments so more people will check us out! We sure do appreciate it! This week at the Disco Bay Detour: The Disco Bay Detour is closing at the end of the month. Here’s a statement from Greg: As the summer comes to an end, it saddens me to let everyone know that the Disco Bay Detour is closing at the end of September. September 29th will be our last day open. It’s been a great run, and we still have one more month of Wilderness Wednesdays, Open mics with Jillian, and a great travelling Bluegrass band, Never Come Down on 9/6. Doom Lagoon will bring some experimental funk on 9/23. We’ll have a big schwenker party/wake with the Piney Gals on 9/27, and we’d love to see you throughout September. We are sad that we were never able to make this great space pencil, but we will continue to try for a sustainable model by connecting the Detour and the Village Store. We’re working on a plan to keep the espresso and non-alcoholic beverages flowing at the Detour as it becomes part of a larger grocery. Our hours are set for September, but they are limited. Here is the schedule:http://www.discobaydetour.com/…/september-hours-events-flye… So stay tuned and we’ll keep everyone updated about our progress in connecting these two great locations and continuing to serve our community. Thanks for the great times. Everyone is encouraged to bring maps (yay!), trip planning ideas and resources, gear questions, pictures, or whatever else you feel inspired to ask or share. While the foundation of Wilderness Wednesdays is simply a time to gather informally to pour over maps and share stories over drinks, some evenings will also feature a wilderness related presentation or workshop, with topics ranging from surfing, kayaking, backcountry skiing, and mountaineering to backpacking, flyfishing, local botany, and wild foraging. If you have a presentation or workshop you would like to share for one of the weeks (30-45min long presentation, plus some Q & A time) or a topic you would like to hear someone else speak about, contact Erin at erin.b.reading@gmail.com.***Barring rain, we will have a fire going outside – feel free to bring something to grill on the schwenker or a snack/potluck dish to share if so inspired.***For both experienced and aspiring outdoor adventurers – all are welcome! Visit the Disco Bay Detour Facebook page to stay up to date. Received since the last episode: Sub X (9/12) Only grams left on the Gelato and White Urkel. New Subdivision $10/g bud line from Sub X is Mango Glue, and the Subdivision Zkittles sauce, Lime 43 sugar wax and Orange Poison oil for $20/g.Leaf Chief (9/17) Received this local bud: Blueberry Muffin, Chernobyl, Forbidden Fruit, Mint Cookies and Sour Candy. They also do an amazing 2 blunt pack, the papers are made from green tea and cocoa leaves and the caffeine is meant to give that sort of tobacco buzz you’d get from a true blunt. They’re kind of fancy and tasty and available in 4 strains, 1.8g total (2 x .9g blunts) for $13.50. Cedar Creek (9/19) I had placed a sizable order but they’ve run out of a lot since the robbery. The only bud received this weed is Purple Punch, and Purple Punch/OG Kush infused joints. We were fortunate enough to receive 20 Jack Herer 1g vape cartridges, if you’re a fan you’d better come get them ASAP because when they’re gone it’s going to be a while. Due soon (delivery days/times subject to change): Liberty Reach (9/24) They’s been short on joints lately but this next Tuesday we will receive a whole bunch, including the beloved Tropicanna Cookies in both half and full gram sizes and a new strain or two! Oh and the great news? Kush Mints will be available in joints AND bud around the end of the month! That’s all for this week, come see us soon! -Molly at Sea Change
