As of the sending of this newsletter we have not heard which way it will go. If this is the case Sea Change Cannabis will extend a 10% discount to all valid medical customers on regularly priced items to offset the sales taxes. Enjoy the message we received: “Due to unforeseen challenges, the Department may not be able to meet its deadline to have a database available on July 1st. We will continue to work to ensure the medical marijuana authorization database will be available as soon as possible. At this time we are still working on the system components that will allow you to add employees to your store. We anticipate that feature to be available within in the next few days. We will send you an update as soon as this component is ready so you can continue to prepare for assisting patients and their designated providers.” We will be operating in the medical capacity the moment we are able to do so. Please visit the Department of Health’s website to learn more about the delay.
