It’s time for the weekly weed report!

Wow, it’s almost the 4th of July!  The store is jam packed with bud, hundreds of new joints arriving Saturday, so many edibles will be in by Friday, details below.

In neighborhood news…  Well, it finally happened.  The glorious espresso machine has been given the go ahead by the county and Friday morning will be the official start of COFFEE & NEWS happening daily from 7am to noon.  Our beloved budtender Sam left a multi-year stint at Better Living Through Coffee in PT to take charge of Detour espresso and she will be there most mornings pulling shots, keeping all of us properly caffeinated. Otherwise the Detour maintains normal hours, espresso will be available full time.

Live music this weekend, starting Thursday with the weekly Acoustic Open Jam.  Friday night 6/30 get your groove on from 7-10pm with Joy in Mudville, a very popular peninsula band whose influences include Jerry Garcia and occasional DBD musical guest Danny Barnes.  Saturday 7/1 brings 2 sets (5-7pm and 8-10pm) from Story Street, a delightful Bozeman duo who draw from the genres of bluegrass, country, old-time, and folk revival music.  Sunday 7/2 Story Street will play the first coffee concert from 9am to noon.

COMING SOON to the empty space between Sea Change and the Discovery Bay Village Store: Disco Bay Outdoor Exchange – Rental and secondhand outdoor equipment from kayaks and surfboards to bikes, backpacks, outdoor gear and apparel!  More info as details are ready for the public!

Sustainnabis is a new local vendor due this week.  They make very nice organic ingredient topical products infused with appropriate essential oils to achieve the intended effects.
