It’s time for the weekly weed report!

This week we’ve got Sub X back in the cabin.  If you have had their stuff you know not all farms are equal.  They turn out the bud that I’m going to put in my best friend’s or mother’s first bowl when they visit Washington State.  Some people just have this connection with the plant, they know how to coax life to its fullest potential.  Check out this interview with their grower Nate Jorgenson to meet the hand that weeds you.

In neighborhood news…  it’s Memorial Day weekend and hopefully the weather will be agreeable.  Start early Thursday night with weekly Acoustic Open Mic Jam.  Friday brings Andrew Lovejoy playing classic American roots.  Saturday night check out Eric Miller and the Easy Winners, a Seattle group who sound like an entertaining lot who put on a show.  Sunday early evening show with YKMW (You Knew Me When), a heavy road trip gigging Nashville couple into indie folk rock. Monday, oh please let it be a sunny day, Matt Sircely and Danny Barnes are playing a couple shows from 2-4pm and 5-7pm.  No doubt there will be people sharing food and potlucking it up so come grab a cool one, listen to some tunes.  We all deserve the classic summer long weekend chill out experience.

I apologize for the newsletter weirdness over the last little while.  Long story short: technical difficulties are hard to suss out with a company 9 hours ahead of us.  Hopefully the issues are settled now, time will tell.  If all else fails I post the newsletter on the website each week.
