It’s time for the weekly weed report!

Are y’all ready for Spring Break?  Well maybe you don’t have any Spring Breakers in your life but they’re going to be crawling all over the peninsula in very slow RVs for the next couple weeks.  We are ready with new items, more on that later!

In neighborhood news the Discovery Bay Village Store is hiring a grocery clerk!  This is a great job for someone with great attention to detail, who loves local food, chatting with customers, can work weekends and wants to become part of the Local on 101 family. Bonus: discounts at the Detour and weed store!

In neighborhood news come down to the Detour for acoustic open jam every Thursday. Friday night is a double bill with Luke Meeker and Micaela Kingslight.  Saturday night has 2 sold out ticketed events (5:00 and 7:30) with The Nick Schnebelen Band, brought to the Detour by Mark Cole of The Upstage.

Important community alert update, just in case you didn’t know, this is a big deal for some folks: The Hood Canal Bridge closures scheduled in mid March were delayed.  The bridge will be closed to vehicular traffic between 11pm and 5am each night from April 2nd through the 5th for a construction project that rebuilds and replaces the internal mechanics of the draw span.
