It’s time for the weekly weed report!
STOCK UP: OK I have given more casual warnings about the potential issues we face with the new State cannabis tracking system after November 1st, but now I am going to turn it up. More vendors are getting nervous about a blackout period lasting as long as two weeks and industry people are beginning to chatter more loudly. The State has developed a contingency plan to allow sales/transfers during this downtime but allow me to be so bold as to say it would surprise precisely *none* of us who deal with the tracking system daily if this doesn’t work out silky smooth. Stock up now, just in case!
STRAIN ALERT: If you like Triumph Cannabis you better get to the store and buy what’s left of it because the company is dunzo! Is this the end of the Lemdawg?!!?! Ugh. I vow to hunt these genetics, stay tuned.
Here’s what’s happening next door at the Disco Bay Detour!  Open daily at 7am for COFFEE & NEWS.  Thursday is the weekly Acoustic Open Jam from 5-8pm.  Friday 10/27 peninsula crooners Bread and Gravy from 7-10pm.  Saturday 10/28 the Americana/Gypsy Jazz sounds of Taarka from 7-10pm.  Sunday 10/29 there’s Cascade View Quartet with classic jazz from 4:30-6:30pm.  Wednesday 11/1 All Saint’s Day is the return of a very special group who kills it every single time with their wild Gypsy Jazz sounds: The DiTrani Brothers and Dana Anastasia.  Check the Disco Bay Detour events on Facebook to stay up to date!
