It’s time for the weed report!

10/4, good buddy!  The huge news is that the store’s sale finally went through and Travis and Nicole Mason, 2 long time Port Townsend residents, are the proud new owners!  We are all so excited to have new energy and ideas in the cabin.  For the time being Sea Change Cannabis will stay the same but eventually they will re-brand the store to reflect their mission and passion, which includes a larger emphasis on medical products and patients.  Of course we will still serve recreational buyers as we have for over 5 years.  John, Dan and I are staying at the store!

On a personal note I am thrilled the sale has gone through because we were trying to keep inventory down for an easier ownership transfer and selection has been slimmer as of late.  The way the State works is a labyrinthine system of steps and requirements and we could never be sure when the sale would be final.  Heck, when I left the house Wednesday morning I didn’t know the switch was happening after my shift that same day!  Looking forward to placing some orders soon and getting back up to ample levels of supply and products!

Travis, the new guy, will be in the store most weekday mornings for a while training and getting to know our customers.  Stop by and say hi sometime!

A big thank you and good luck to the Brothertons and all other folks involved with the Sea Change back end.  It couldn’t have been done without you, we made history!
