This week at the Disco Bay Detour: Open daily at 7am for COFFEE & NEWS Thursdays are the Acoustic Open Mic Jam, bring your songs and instruments from 5-8pm Friday 4/27 Camelia Jade and McKain Lakey 7pm: Camelia Jade is a multi-instrumentalist of Chilean-American descent drawing from both modern and ancestral influences, composing on guitar, charango, voice, and percussion. 8:30pm McKain Lakey is a musician whose work investigates themes of oppression and empowerment through the richness of American folk traditions, free show Saturdays and Sundays Noon to 6pm or until they run out of food…. Revolution Tacos will be slinging taco bowls and quesadillas Saturday 4/28 Disco Dance Party with Disco Geezer – Disco Geezer (aka Pete Lack) crafts a perfect union of 70’s disco, 80’s dance and floor shaking House. Coupled with Live synth and pounding percussion much like Dirty Beat Duo, Disco Geezer is blazing down the boogie trail to thrill the many funk soul brothers and synth pop sisters that hunger for those days when it was cool to shake your booty and get down on it. Get ready for DJ Disco Geezer. We’re turning the disco ball on! 7-10pm, free show Monday 4/30 Rikkha with In Droves – It’s going to get noisy and weird with the Paris based punk/burlesque band Rikkha. Local hard rock band In Droves might set a decibel record with their heavy driving riffs at this Detour debut.
