It’s time for the weed report!

Friday 3/9 Chuck Easton Trio – with Chuck on guitar, flute, saxophone and occasional vocals, George Radebaugh on keyboard and Ted Enderle on bass. The group plays standards, Latin tunes and originals- upbeat, straight-ahead jazz and a little fusion-type stuff.  7-10pm free

Saturday 3/10 DBD regular Joe Stanton – With intricate fingerstyle guitar, earthy baritone and lyrics from life, Joe Stanton does what he loves – writing and performing acoustic music.  7-10pm free

Monday 3/12 Movie Monday – The Moonstone, 1934 – A valuable gem from India is stolen in an old dark mansion and it is up to Scotland Yard inspector Charles Irwin to find out who did it among all the suspects who were in the house.  7pm free

Wednesday 3/14 Monica/Spider Sanctuary – Monica: Three piece, asymmetrical garage pop. Lead by Caitlyn Faircloth, Monica aims to express moods and vibrations through melodic, rhythm heavy indie rock music. Spider Sanctuary: Singer songwriter leans on electric sound to express traditional songwriting with ambient undertones. Local wildcat. 7-10pm

Saturday 3/17 St. Patrick’s Day Celebration – Come join us at the Detour for some good Irish craic. We start with Anamcara, literally “Soul Music” as they take us from 6-9pm with classic Irish songs and tunes.  At 9, the Shantymen return with traditional Irish pub songs both classic and bawdy. From Sea Shanties, to pub sing-alongs, to rousing jigs and reels, join the Shantymen at the old public house. They’ll play until everyone goes away. Designated drivers for groups of 4 get a free coffee or draft soft drink. And it’s free!
