It’s time for the weed report!

Wahoo it’s February!  The weather predictions are looking like we could get some snow Sunday, with temperatures barely going above freezing on Monday, and lows into the 20’s all week.  My rule of thumb is to never trust the weather predictions past 48 hours but I’d rather be safe than sorry.  When in doubt I consult my weather oracle, Cliff Mass, who tends to break things down in ways I can understand and actually learn how and why things happen.  And there’s a big old football game this Sunday, I hear.  And Cedar Creek news down below!

Thursdays are the Acoustic Open Mic Jam with Vic – Join Vic as he hosts Open Mic/Jams in the Detour’s state of the art acoustic venue.  Plugged or unplugged, bring your instruments, original songs, renditions of classic ones, or works in progress.  Free, 6-9pm

Saturday 2/2 – EAST Blue – East Blue’s sound is a blending of Alternative Rock backdrops with Island and Reggae influences – all interlocked with a Hip-Hop sensibility and lyrical depth.  Free, 8:30-10pm

Sunday 2/3 – Big Game, Big Screen – Apparently there’s a superb owl to be seen and where better to see it than on the Detour’s big old screen.  Come hang out a little early, bring something for the potluck or grab supplies from the Discovery Bay Village Store right next door.  Free, 3-??pm

Friday 2/8 – The Retrofiers – Enjoy new twists on old classics with Port Townsend’s quirky musical duo.  Free, 7-9pm

Cedar Creek (7-10 days)  Here’s the good news!  They harvested Chem Dawg and Jack Herer yesterday!!!  Actually I am going to quote them directly so you know as much as I do.
“The Jack will be ready to package Monday, and the Chem will be ready next Wednesday to package..
your order will be ready next week.. Just wanted to check in and let you know where we are at.”
